Services
Since 1925, The Children's Sunshine Home has responded to the needs of the times. Today we provide Step down Support (from maternity hospitals), Home Support, Respite and Residential services to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Many of the children have conditions from birth such as Cerebral Palsy, profound brain damage and conditions incompatible with life.
We support the family in the care of their child.
We work in partnership with the Health Authorities and Voluntary Agencies. Core funding is provided by the Health Services Executive. We could not operate without the support and the generosity of our benefactors and friends.
Some services we provide include:
- Home Support
- Hospital Support
- Day and Overnight Respite
- Respite, residential and crisis care for children (birth to 12)
- Adolescent residential care for children (age over 13 years)
- Family Support & Accommodation
- Parent to Parent Support
Our Team includes:
Medical Director; Consultant Paediatrician; Nursing team, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Dietician, GP service, Chaplain, Social Work, Volunteers, Administration and support.
Looking for Caring Career
